At the “Ori Peleg” website, we make extensive efforts to make our organization and our website accessible to people with disabilities, in order to promote equal rights and transparency for people with disabilities.
The Essence of an Accessible Website
An accessible website is a website that allows a person with a disability to browse with the same level of efficiency and enjoyment as other users, by using the capabilities of the system they operate on and through assistive accessibility technologies.
Implementation of Accessibility Adjustments on the Website
The accessibility adjustments on the website were carried out in accordance with Section C: Internet Services in the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Accessibility Adjustments to Services), 2013, and in accordance with the Israeli Standard IS 5568 based on the WCAG 2.0 guidelines.
The website has been made accessible to the level required by law, subject to the changes and adaptations made in the Israeli standard document.
The website supports the use of assistive technologies such as screen-reader software, keyboard navigation using the Tab and Shift+Tab keys to move between links, arrow keys, the Enter key for selection, the Esc key to exit menus and windows, and pressing H or a number to navigate between headings.
The website is tested every month to ensure the maintenance of its accessibility.
Optimal Accessibility Usability on the Website
On this website, it is possible to browse optimally and accessibly using common browsers, and it is recommended to use the following browsers: Firefox / Opera / Safari / Lynx / Edge / Chrome, and with screen-reader software such as NVDA / JAWS / VoiceOver.
